Talks without Hurriyat futile: Akbar Lone

Srinagar, Dec 25: Senior National Conference leader, Akbar Lone Monday said that there are no hopes from the Interlocutor Dineshwar Sharma’s meetings adding that the party is apprehensive that his findings too would meet the fate similar to that of the previous working group reports.
Lone said that whatever is happening Kashmir, they should understand it and find out the solution of this problem.
He said that if the interlocutor has been appointed again that may have a special reason. He said that if the government of India is trying to show people of Kashmir that govt is doing something to resolve the issue.
He added that if they are talking to mainstream parties only, nothing is going to happen adding that they have to talk to other parties including Hurriyat.
Akbar lone added that if they talk to Hurriyat they may find out some outcome. He added Govt seems not interested to talk to Hurriyat which turns it futile exercise. “People never care about the visit of these interlocutors, if they are not talking to Hurriyat”, he said. (PTK)
