Srinagar, Dec 24: International community isolating United States at the United Nations State General Assembly has put the mighty country in trouble. In fact it would have upset the President Donald Trump.
An analyst while talking to Precious Kashmir said, “The unilateral decision of the President Trump to declare Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine has backfired. The international community has made it clear to the President Trump that he won’t be allowed to dictate terms.”
He said that President Trump’s decision united the Muslim countries and they opposed the move tooth and nail. “Most of the countries which defied the diktat of the US President drove home a point that threats about financial aid being cut are no more valid as most of the countries have become self reliant and least bothered about any aid,” the analyst added.
He said, “The American President has been made to understand that he cannot give dictations. It’s for the first time in the recent past that international community has isolated America and has turned its decision upside down.”
An observer said, “International community taking the America head on should serve as an eye opener for the Trump administration. It has been proven beyond doubt that America cannot take the decisions on the behalf of the world community and then compel it to follow the same.”
He said, “Times are changing fast. United States should realize that Muslim countries have become powerful and if they are pushed to an edge they can unite for a common cause as they did this time.”
“The biggest mistake which United States is committing is that it’s under estimating the collective power of the Muslim world. It needs to change its mindset and allow other countries to co-exist,” he added.
A defence analyst said that after taking the unilateral decision to declare Jerusalem as the capital of Israel the President Trump should not have shot his mouth off. “ He should have refrained from issuing threats and warnings. Had he done so the countries which enjoy close ties with United States could have voted in its favour in the UNGA. More than 128 countries voting against America that too in one go indicates that even if America calls for a war it won’t find many allies. If it decides to go for a war then it would have to put the existence of America at stake.”
Its in place to mention here that a recent survey conducted by an independent agency had stated that popularity graph of the President Trump has witnessed a decline in The United States and most of the US citizens are not happy with his “impulsive decisions.”
