Kishtwar, Dec 19: Former Minister and National Conference MLC Mr Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo on Tuesday said that realization is fast dawning upon progressive, forward-looking and peace-loving people to isolate divisive forces and work for strengthening the bonds of amity and brotherhood in a pluralistic state like Jammu and Kashmir.
“The people are disgusted and dejected with those believing in politics of hate and understand that reactionary political pursuits can only lead to chaos and crisis, which the state is currently witnessing”, Mr Kichloo said while welcoming several prominent persons of Dachan area into National Conference.
Besides retired Asst Commandant BSF Krishan Dass Thakur, retired Inspector Police Tilak Raj Thakur, retired Head Constable BSF Atma Ram Thakur and ex-serviceman Salig Ram Thakur and retired employees Baldev Raj Thakur, Raj Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Nath Ram and Prakash Chand joined the National Conference in presence of Mr Kichloo and senior party leaders.
Kichloo concluded the extensive tour of the Dachan area along with senior party functionaries.
The former minister expressed concern over various problems confronted to the people; especially those living in remote and far off areas and feared that sadistic delay in addressing these with further alienate the dejected masses and create a scenario that will be difficult to tackle.
