Srinagar, Dec 10: On international human rights day, association of parents of disappeared persons (APDP) held a silent protest in Srinagar on Sunday.
Reports said that scores of APDP members assembled at press colony here and held protests seeking whereabouts of their missing kins.
Records complied by the rights groups based in Srinagar claim that around 8000 persons were forcibly disappeared in Jammu and Kashmir.
The APDP led by Parveena Ahanger also announced publication of its annual calendar for year 2018 on the occassion.
The APDP members hold such protests on every 10th of each month in Srinagar to press the government to deliver justice to the victim families. (PTK)
