Yashwant Sinha detained during protest march

 

Mumbai, Dec 5: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Yashwant Sinha was detained on Monday in Maharashtra’s Akola village. He was later released
The senior party member was leading a farmers’ march in Akola, when he was stopped by the local cops.
Sinha, who’s party is in power in the state, as protesting against the state government’s alleged apathy towards farmers in the state’s Vidarbha region.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has not commented on the issue so far.
