Five injured after passenger bus rams into mosque in central Kashmir

Ganderbal, Nov 21: Five passengers including a lady were injured after a bus rammed into a Masjid Sharief in Preng area of Kangan Tehsil of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Tuesday.
Reports said that the passenger bus bearing registration number JK03-2011 was on its way from Kullan to Srinagar when the driver lost control over it and collided with a local Masjid on Srinagar Leh highway at Prang area resulting the injuries to five passengers including a lady.
The injured were identified as Javaid Ahmad Raina of Rayil Gund ,Shamim Ahmad Khatana of Ganiwan Kangan, Musharraf Ahmad Theekry of Mamar Kangan, Mohd Rafiq and Mubeena Akhtar of Hari Ganiwan Kangan.
Masjid property also suffered damage by the collision, local sources said.
Meanwhile police has registered a case in this regard and started further investigation.
