Schools near LOC closed after Indo-Pak armies exchanges fire

Srinagar, Nov 17: Schools located the near the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir were closed on Friday after the armies of India and Pakistan exchanged heavy fire and shelling.
Reports said that the firing started at 7:50 am in Gulpur, Degwar, Nakarkote and other sectors. They said that shells were landing in villages located closed to the LoC.
Because of shelling, the Deputy Commissioner Poonch ordered the closure of all schools falling under firing range. There was no immediate report of any casualties of losses to the property. (PTK)
